The D5D6 plot covers an area of 586,925 square meters, the E5 plot covers an area of 1,883,399 square meters, the B4B5 plot covers an area of 418,221 square meters, and CSPC II The reserved land area of the EF plot in the public works area in the first phase is 149,695 square meters, and the total land area of the four plots is 3,038,267 square meters. D5D6 plot and E5 plot are the main factory areas of the project.

Among them, the first phase of the CNOOC and Shell project was put into operation in early 2006. Its main facilities include 11 sets of production units and supporting public works, terminals, storage and transportation, and environmental protection facilities. The scale of the ethylene unit is 950,000 tons/year. The project has introduced 13 world-leading technologies, including Shell’s proprietary technology, and a management model in line with international standards for design, construction and operation, with an annual output of 2.8 million tons of chemical products to supply the market;

The second phase of the CNOOC and Shell project was put into operation in April 2018. The main facilities include 13 sets of production units and supporting public works, storage and transportation, and environmental protection facilities. The scale of the ethylene unit is 1 million tons per year. The project uses Shell’s proprietary 17 advanced domestic and foreign industry technologies, including OMEGA, SMPO and polyol technology, have further expanded the product range and improved overall energy efficiency. It can produce 4 million tons of chemical products annually to supply the market.
