The Huafon Group's 1.38 million tons per year functional new materials project has started construction.

On April 29th, the government website of Fuling District, Chongqing City, released a message that the Huafeng Group's 1.38 million tons per year integrated industrial chain project of functional new materials has started construction in the Baitao Industrial Park (Baitao New Materials Science and Technology City) of Fuling District.

It is understood that the 1.38 million tons per year functional new materials integrated industrial chain project is a key project of Huafeng Group to strengthen, extend and supplement the industrial chain of polyurethane and polyamide new materials based on the resource advantages of Fuling shale gas. The project plans to invest 12 billion yuan. After the project is completed, it can achieve an annual output value of 20 billion yuan.

Huafeng Chongqing Base (Chongqing Huafeng New Materials Industrial Park) is an industrial base invested and constructed by Huafeng Group in the Futian Baitao Industrial Park (Baitao New Materials Science and Technology City). Since its establishment in Chongqing Futian in 2010, it has invested over 20 billion yuan and successively built 21 industrial projects. Currently, 9 independent legal entities including Huafeng Chemical, Huafeng Spandex, Huafeng Aluminum, Huafeng New Materials, and Huafeng Polyamide have settled in. It is the world's largest producer of adipic acid and the world's largest single-site spandex production base. In 2023, the base's output value exceeded 33 billion yuan.
