On June 22, the Inner Mongolia Junzheng Chemical Co., Ltd. successfully started the trial production of its 300,000 tons per year BDO (1,4-butanediol) production line as part of the company's green, low-carbon, environmentally friendly, and biodegradable plastic circular industrial chain project.
Junzheng Chemical has introduced BDO technology from KTS (formerly INVISTA) of the United States, with a single-line annual capacity of 300,000 tons, making it the largest single-line BDO facility in the world at present.
Currently, the green, low-carbon, environmentally friendly, and biodegradable plastic circular industrial chain project of Junzheng Chemical has already built an annual production capacity of 3 million tons of coke, 550,000 tons of methanol, and 698,000 tons of acetylene raw material projects, as well as a 120,000-ton PTMEG (polytetramethylene ether glycol) production facility and other supporting infrastructure. The successful commissioning of the BDO production line marks the completion of the entire chemical industry chain from coking, methanol, BDO to PTMEG, achieving full integration of the BDO project.
